This is a custom mounting screw - a long alloy steel bolt with a hex flange head, a main M20 thread down most of the shank, and a smaller M10 pilot thread turned onto the tip. We turned the steps and the shank, milled the hex on the head, and single-pointed both threads. After machining it was nitrided through our finishing partner, which gives it the black, hard surface you see here. It's the mate to the mounting ring we ran alongside it.
