This is a beryllium copper upper housing for a directional drilling tool - a long hollow body with a big Stub Acme thread on each end and a set of O-ring seal grooves down the OD. We turned it inside and out, cut both Acme threads, and put in the seal grooves. Long and slim in BeCu means it wants to push away from the tool, so we took our time on the finish passes to keep the diameters where they belong. Held the diameters to .005.
